APW - Waltham, 7J, Model 1888, 16S, gold-filled OF original Fahys case with attractive engraving detail including a small home scene to rear, fancy white and gray enamel SS impressed dial with ornate gold and silver foil decorations, SW-SS, gilt mvt, s#5306763. This watch is highlighted by its spectacular fancy dial which is in superb condition.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with areas of unevenness to gilt tone, areas of oxide to larger winding wheel and click; nearly flawless dial with some fine scratches at perimeter under bezel outside 7, some mild shallow flakes to rim of center hole; fine hands, minute with a bend to its tip and with oxide to its spade and tip; case shows light wear, no dents or dings, reduced engraving detail, small bits of wear to brass to raised ridge of pendant; tight bow, crown shows light wear; glass crystal with scattered scratches.
